A Natural Phenomenon Is Coming to Arkansas at the End of January, and it’s Going to be Gorgeous

It’s not very often that we get something like this.

Get ready to check out the night sky, because a natural phenomenon is coming to the Natural State. At the end of the month, hopefully January 20th, a total lunar eclipse, a Super Blood Wolf Full Moon, will rise into the night sky.

The eclipse will start at 9pm, but its peak won’t happen until about 11pm. Should be a great way to finish off the weekend!

If you’re wondering what the heck a “Super Blood Wolf Full Moon Means”, you’re probably not alone, as it’s quite an odd name.

A “super moon” occurs when the moon is the closest to the Earth as it can possibly be. “Blood” refers to the reddish tint due to the light filtering, and “wolf” is a Native American term.

If you remember last year’s solar eclipse, protective eyewear was needed in order to view it. That won’t be the case this year. You’ll be able to break out the telescope, or just comfortably watch it from your deck.

The next total lunar eclipse won’t come around until May 26th, 2021 so if you’re interested in seeing incredible things like this, now would be the time to check it out!

Where are you going to be watching? The team here at Carter Recruiting will certainly be catching a glimpse while we’re relaxing at home and getting ready for the work week.
